Meet Tony Hounshell

If there’s one thing you should know about Tony Hounshell, it’s that real estate isn’t just a job for him — it’s in his DNA. Born and raised in Timberville, Virginia, Tony started his career swinging hammers and running his own handyman business before realizing he loved the deal-making side of real estate even more than the physical labor. So, 25 years ago, he got his license, and he’s been at it ever since.

Tony’s done a little bit of everything in the industry. He’s closed over 150 transactions in the past couple of years alone, handled land deals across Arizona and Georgia as a Disposition Manager, and helped clients buy and sell everything from luxury homes and commercial spaces to mobile home parks, industrial properties, and medical offices. If it involves real estate, odds are Tony’s worked it.

Clients appreciate his no-pressure, consultative approach — he’s the kind of agent who tells it to you straight, keeps things moving, and always has your back. And when he’s not sealing deals, you’ll probably find him outdoors kayaking, biking, or rollerblading, or onstage playing bass with his rock band.

Tony’s also got a heart for giving back. He’s spent time with Habitat for Humanity, including helping build homes for displaced musicians in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina — something he still talks about with pride.
